The Boma Hotel | Entebbe, Uganda October 2025Shortly after moving to Chicago in February 2000, I wandered into a downtown CompUSA and became mesmerized by a series of rotating Chicago cityscapes displayed on Apple 22-inch Studio Display monitors. That moment quietly changed everything.
I picked up a Minolta film camera and started photographing the city and White Sox games before eventually finding myself traveling, chasing landscapes — mountains, forests, rivers, and waterfalls.
Over time, photography became less about capturing a place, and more about holding onto what it felt like to exist within it.
